Okay so: Sylphs, in mythology, are like an angelic embodiment of air itself. Their role is to gather the clouds, directing the winds, and forming the rain and snow.
They’re described as being almost invisible, having an almost human appearance, but with huge eyes and great feathered wings sprouting from their backs. The wings are almost twice the body length of the sylph, but they fold up behind them. They’re also sometimes described as having sharp, hawk like faces.
Sylphs don’t have any particular stories about them, but it is said that if you listen carefully you can hear them whispering in the winds, particularly through caves and caverns.
They are friends with the birds and the butterflies, and they care for and protect them, and their homes in the mountains.
Now, when I take classpect tests I tend to get the title Sylph of Breath. The Breath aspect is obviously based around air, and seeing as actual sylphs are air spirits.. I thought it would be fun to draw god-tier me all sylph-y c:
