Differentiating Your Designs by harrie5 Differentiating Your Designs by harrie5

I have nO idea if I explained this well haha
if I made no sense feel free to ask me questions

You can find CrazyIguana’s tutorial here on deviantART or on their tumblr

EDIT: aaa, thank you all so much for the lovely comments! I'm really happy it has been helpful to you all ;w;

EDIT2: After following :iconpurplekecleon: for a few years now, their art has definitely influenced mine. This is particularly noticeable with the kecleons!! You should check out their art for sure! Their kec art certainly helped me fall in love w/ the pokémon nwn

This is neat tutorial! its hard sometimes to make a pokemon different than the original design. It often takes a lot of tries to get something that looks super unique!...ooh..the  kecleons remind me of :iconpurplekecleon:'s style of drawing them. Were you influenced by them?

Not intentionally, but you're right they do look similar! I have been following them for a couple years now so they've clearly had an influence on my art haha ;;

This really needs a DD, mostly because it explains principles of design in a super simple fashion that most designers miss in their well, designs XD!

I love how you described every detail by allowing the person to feel that they have unlimited possibilities! An outstanding tutorial, just amazing!

this is very interesting and even though I haven't seen many other pokemons of the same kind of the pokemons in my team, I should bring more characteristics in them. thank you very much
